Class Selection (Coming Soon)

Dear Parents,

astro laws of motion girl 2

We are excited that you are considering sending your child to Astrocamp. Our goal is to make your child’s summer trip one that they will remember for the rest of their lives. The website will give you a thorough overview of our programs and hopefully answer any questions you may have.

You and your child should choose classes that are exciting and will push their comfort zone. There is no better place than summer camp for your child to try new things in a safe and supportive environment. Additionally, with the new national focus on teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in our schools, Astrocamp’s curriculum is more relevant than ever. It’s a program that we believe in, and one that has positively impacted thousands of campers since 1991.

Guided Discoveries Astrocamp Individual exploration and discovery are at the heart of Astrocamp’s educational philosophy. In addition to its academic value, another major benefit of attending Astrocamp is the Camp Experience. While camp is fun, exciting and educational, it also teaches children practical life skills. By working in small teams to accomplish goals, they learn to get along with others in a group living situation and forge stronger friendships. The very nature of the experience encourages personal responsibility, initiative and independence. Camp is an opportunity to develop character.

Our facilities in Idyllwild are not publicly accessible and allow your child an exciting opportunity to experience the unique facilities at Astrocamp safely and without outside distractions. We look forward to sharing our vibrant and engaging hands-on program with your child in the near future.
