AstroCamp provides me a home away from home; it allows me to be my most authentic self… I’ve made some of my closest friends, explored passions like ceramics, ax-throwing, and geocaching, and created memories to cherish. The sense of family and community keeps me coming back.

We love AstroCamp! It’s been my son’s home away from home for the past four summers. The friendships formed and the inclusive nature of camp where everyone gets to be exactly who they are really stand out. The joyful hellos and tearful goodbyes tell the story of a summer well spent.

What I love about AstroCamp is it’s a small camp of awesome ‘nerds.’ It’s inclusive of kids from different backgrounds, abilities, and identities. It’s a nurturing, welcoming community where we can escape and detox from our phones. I learned ASL, blacksmithing, Dungeons & Dragons, and photography.

My son Lance had such a great time—it was his first time away from home, and thanks to your amazing staff, both of us felt at ease. I appreciated the clear pre-camp communication and the warm welcome. Thanks to that single week, Lance came back more confident, social, and vibrant.

I keep coming back to AstroCamp because of the friendships and the strong sense of community I’ve found here. It’s one of the few places where I feel truly at home and free to be myself. AstroCamp isn’t just a place—it’s the people. The staff work tirelessly to create such a welcoming, supportive environment, and without them I don’t think I would have kept returning year after year—for almost a decade.

My son went to AstroCamp with his best friend and they had an absolute blast! From the activities to their amazing counselor, they came home full of joy and stories to share. He especially loved the outdoor adventures, the great meals, and the overall camp experience. We highly recommend AstroCamp—and we’ll definitely be back next year!
